Ausgrid’s City Zone Substation was reaching the end of its design life and would shortly be retired. Diona was contracted by Ausgrid to construct new underground 11KV cables along a 1.8km route through the city CBD. This involved laying new conduits which would join numerous cable pits throughout the city. With the need to prevent water ingress in the pits Hauff-Technik mechanical press seals were specified in to meet the requirements of the project. Water ingress in pits has huge implications as it cost time, money, and labour to pump out. These are valuable resources which should be greater spent on other areas of the network. Thanks to the collaboration of Ausgrid and Diona over 800 Cable Seals were successfully installed on the Network. If these pits need to be accessed in the future there will be zero maintenance involved and massive cost savings for Ausgrid.
Endeavour Energy Marayong Zone Substation

A great accomplishment by the MVTS Team and our supply partner Swistec, as another new 11kV Swistec Ripple Control Plant and RKS Transmitter was commissioned for Endeavour Energy.
This plant is part of the state-of-the-art upgrade, in a new 33/11kV Zone Substation in Marayong, west of Sydney, replacing an ageing, adjacent facility.
It will ensure the safe and reliable provision of power to residents in the area for years to come, and we are happy to be part of this amazing project and the demand management scheme in the area.

Another excellent accomplishment yesterday evening by our team, in conjunction with Siemens, managing Factory Acceptance Testing remotely from our partner factory Hilkar in Turkey, due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Together we were able to use this to our advantage, enabling numerous stakeholders to dial-in to see our Power Factor Control units undergo FATs for Metro Trains Melbourne.
We are so proud to be involved in another significant rail project. The Metro Tunnel will form part of a new end-to-end rail line from Sunbury in the west to Cranbourne/Pakenham in the southeast, with high capacity trains, five new underground stations, and 9 kilometer twin tunnels.
MV Technology Solutions Pty Ltd supplies multiple items for this Melbourne rail project, from HaslerRail AG onboard equipment for the new High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) to Arthur Flury AG overhead line hardware for rail electrification and of course the PFC unit from Hilkar Elektrik Elektroteknik Sanayi Ve Ticaret Ltd.
