Description: The Type HPS mechanical test safety device is specifically designed to test the micro switch operation on MV switchgear containing fuses.
The HPS consists of one cylindrical insulated body, mechanical release device, timer and firing pin. After resetting the firing pin and activating the timing device, the test unit is inserted into the tested switchgear. After approx.100 seconds the test device releases the firing pin.
